The Tandon Track
The Tandon Track College Counseling

My name is Vihaan Tandon. I am a senior at Mercer Island High School and will be attending Indiana University's Kelley School of Business on a scholarship, where I plan to major in Finance.
My personal journey through the college application process—from identifying target schools to crafting compelling essays and securing financial aid—has provided me with invaluable firsthand experience and an understanding of what it takes to position yourself best for an acceptance from your desired colleges. I'm passionate about sharing these insights to help students confidently pursue their own college dreams.
The Problem With the Current State of College Counseling
Based on my experience, and that of many of my peers, the current landscape of college counseling presents significant challenges for families and students. Traditional counselors typically charge between $5,000 to $20,000, yet frequently adopt a "one-size-fits-all" approach, leading to generic advice, thinly spread attention, and a lack of the personalized support and transparency that each student deserves.

My mission is to bridge this gap by offering affordable, peer-to-peer mentorship that provides comprehensive support throughout the entire college admissions process.
